Lightbulb New PvP game types

Tower Capture

Max teams of both sides = 16 ( or more )

Start point 1
Both teams are at their base from two sides whille the tower is in middle.

To Capture the Tower. You need atleast 8 players standing on the tower.
If The opposed party allso gets 8 people in the Tower. Both will be Knocked and teleported away (It only counts when its a Tie).

If the tower is not captured within 5 minutes, Then two guards will be summoned ( Not friendly to either of the party )
They are level 30 and deal a huge amount of damage (ignores armor)


To win.

Defeat opposed team.
Get 100 Points.
You will get 10 points per 2nd minute whille possesing the Tower.
You get 5 points for slaying one in the opposed party.


Tips for winning.
Slowing down or blocking the opposite team will give you time to grab the tower in time. Multiple knockdowns are allso helpful.

Blind works good on the guards.

The Tower can randomly
Stripe enchantments of both teams.
Boost damage and lower armor of both teams.
Causes daze to casters.
Deals 100 damage to nearest player that has full health.

How awful was this idea? you tell me!

Did we just decide to put together a bunch of elite missions and poor PvP concepts into one packet without any further thinking?

they cant do this all the devs are working on guild wars 2.

That actually sums it up quite well. very well actually.
mix of arenas gvg, HA, AB, everything.

don't like the general idea though. too chaotic, you'll just get 3 or 4 types of builds that does 1 thing well (like score a lot of kills, or a defensive build that can sustain itself indefinitely) it'll end up being rock-paper-scissors where you lost the game before you enter it depending on what build you and the enemy is running

Wouldn't 55 Monks be ftw here? As long as you know how to bodyblock, a 55 would be invincible unless the other team brought Mirror of Disenchant or something.

AB - its already a shrine capping format
and kanyatta, almost any enchant removal>a 55hp monk

No cause the tower would randomly strap enchantments wich would make a 55 colapse

If you don't take some enchant hate on a 16 man team, you fail PvP, to be honest. It's not a big deal.
